Skopska Crna Gora

Skopska Crna Gora is medium-high mountain which stretches on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia with its south side, and the north side belongs to Kosovo. It rises between the Skopje Valley from south, the Kumanovo Valley from east, Gnjilanska Valley from north (in Kosovo) and the valley of the river Lepenec from west.

The highest point of the mountain is at Ramno with 1.651 meters above the sea level. The mountain is composed of crystalline schists and eruptive rocks over which Mesozoic rocks and tertiary sediments lay.

With the valley of the river Lipkovska Reka, it is divided in two parts: western (higher) and eastern (lower) famous as Karadak. There are springs of many river courses on Skopska Crna Gora.
